The CPCS A73 Vehicle Marshaller course has been developed for individuals who have, or may have, responsibility for the movement of vehicles on site. It provides a full understanding of the role and responsibilities related to a Plant and Vehicle Marshaller, including preparation, communication, hazard control and work management traffic plans.
This course combines practical exercises with classroom discussion and assesses candidates in both theory and practical tests, both during and at the end of the course duration.
This course is ideal for anyone who is looking to become a Plant and Vehicle Marshaller, or may have responsibility for the movement of vehicles on site in their current role.
Upon completion of the course, successful candidates will be awarded a CITB National Construction College certificate and be eligible for a CPCS Red Trained Operator Card.
Candidates must have taken and passed a CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test within the two years prior to the course, in order to make the entry requirements. A good level of understanding in both spoken and written English is also a requirement.
Upon completion of the Vehicle Marshaller course, candidates may look to courses such as Excavator Banksman, Managing and Co-ordinating Plant, or Slinger/Signaller.
