Before you arrive for your CSCS Health and Safety Test, be sure that you have arranged the correct test for your CSCS Card colour and level. Just pick up a phone or get in email contact with Construction Site Skills and talk to us about your work – what job you do, how long you have been doing it for and what qualifications you already hold.
We will be able to tell you what type of card you need, and whether you need any additional qualifications before you are eligible for one. At this point you’ll also be told what Construction Skills Health and Safety Test you need to take. If you have never taken a Health Safety test before, purchasing an official revision booklet for the CSCS Health and Safety Test will familiarise you with the questions you can expect on the day.

When it is Time to Take the CSCS Health and Safety Test
On the day, you’ll be photographed at the test centre. Then you will be led to your examination hall or room. The test itself takes place just like any exam – in silence and with a time limit. If you have revised using official CSCS books, CDs, DVDs or CD ROMs then you will be completely familiar with all the questions and with the format they are presented in.
