The process of applying for a CSCS Card can look a little daunting at first. There are 11 different types of card that can be applied for and a variety of different Health Safety Tests that have to be passed in order to qualify for each of them.
The first thing to do, then, is to work out which type of CSCS Smart Card (they’re all smart cards now, fitted with an electronic chip that allows your site supervisor to call up your qualifications and experience levels) you need in order to do your job.
You can get help with this by contacting us directly. Construction Site Skills’s agents will be able to direct you to the right kind of card.
Booking the CSCS Health, Safety & Environment Test
To book a Health Safety Test for a site worker or group of employees, you will need a credit or debit card, plus personal details of your employees – their home addresses and National Insurance Numbers.
You can book the health, safety & environment test online, or you can call us and speak directly to an agent. Using Construction Site Skills to take care of your test booking means you don’t have to worry about lost applications and incorrectly filled in forms.
